As the quarterback market heats up, Russell Wilson has reportedly made his stance clear to the Steelers, Giants, and Browns ahead of Aaron Rodgers' final decision.

Russell Wilson could complicate his chances of signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cleveland Browns or the New York Giants due to the amount of money he is asking for a new contract, according to a report by Tony Grossi. A clear message of what he expects to get.

“I’m not sure that Rodgers or even Russell Wilson would affect the Browns at this point. I think the Browns feel Russell Wilson is a little too expensive for their taste right now. Reportedly $20 million to $30 million he is asking for. Maybe they want to wait it out to see if that comes down before deciding.”

If that is the price Wilson is asking for, Aaron Rodgers will likely remain a priority for the Steelers and Giants. For several weeks, reports have indicated that Pittsburgh is not interested in bringing Russ back and might only consider him in the event of a true emergency.

What is Russell Wilson’s future?

Russell Wilson’s future is tied to the Steelers, Giants, Browns, and even the Tennessee Titans. As mentioned, Pittsburgh is a very complicated option considering the supposed issues he had with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.

Wilson has already visited the Giants and Browns but left both buildings without a contract. He is also said to have offered himself to the Titans, who are reportedly looking for a veteran quarterback to support the potential No. 1 overall pick, which could be Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders.
