Matthew Tkachuk stood out with a goal and an assist in Game 2 of the 2025 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Final, where the Florida Panthers extended their lead over the Carolina Hurricanes with a dominant 5-0 victory, taking a 2-0 advantage in the series.

“He always plays well. He’s a one-of-a-kind player and we’re lucky to have him on our side. He does it all for us. He’s huge for us,” Barkov said about the star forward, according to NHL.com. It’s clear the 27-year-old is a key piece for Florida.
