The defending champions Seattle Sounders will take the pitch on July 10 at 10:30 p.m. ET to start their reign vs. San Jose Earthquakes, arguably the strongest rival they'll face during their first three matchups in the MLS is Back tournament.

Brian Schmetzer's boys will try to prove that last season's late surge wasn't just a fluke and that they're still the team to beat in Major League Soccer but The Goonies are going to be a tough nut to crack, that's for sure.

Star midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro will pull the strings of the offense for the Sounders but their defense must be flawless if they hope to contain Chris Wondolowski and Christian Espinoza, the rival's biggest threats.
