Bayern‘s unbeaten run has finally come to an end. The UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup suffered a shocking 4-1 defeat to Hoffenheim, who climbed to the top of the Bundesliga 2020-2021 season table. Check out the complete German First Division league standings.

The Munich giants, who came from a 2-1 win over Sevilla to clich the UEFA Super Cup trophy on Thursday, couldn’t against new Bundesliga leaders Hoffenheim, who thrashed Bayern 4-1 at theRhein-Neckar-Arena, on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund also suffered a disappointing defeat. The Yellow Submarine lost 2-0 to Augsburg, who managed to reach the top of the Bundesliga standings with the win and share the lead the Hoffenheim, both with six points after two games.

Bayer Leverkusen and Leipzig played one of the most entertaining game of the weekend, but neither side found the way to beat their opponent and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
