Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul announced they will be finally stepping into the ring following several months of back-and-forth. The 44-year-old will be back in action in a fight without very much at stake except for huge revenue for both sides.

The YouTube celebrity got involved in professional boxing after rising to stardom on the Internet, just like his brother Jake, who has also donned the gloves. However, Logan will be the most inexperienced opponent in Mayweather's career, as he only fought once as a pro.

On the other hand, the retired boxing legend hasn't completely stayed aside from the ring as he took part in some exhibition fights in which he has continued to increase his fortune. Money's last fight came in 2017 against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukaua, whom he beat by TKO in the first round in an exhibition bout. When are Paul and Mayweather facing each other? Let's break it down here.

Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather: Date

This bout has been a topic of discussion for a long time, and it was originally scheduled for February 20, 2021. Still, after the event was postponed, they arranged for a new date. Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather will fight on Sunday, June 6, 2021, one day after the Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos bout with the lightweight belt on the line.

The famous YouTuber has only fought twice so far. Both times he faced fellow Internet sensation KSI, first in an amateur fight that ended in a draw, and the second one was a professional bout in which Paul lost by split decision. With a 0-1 record, he will now face one of the best boxers in history who remains undefeated with 50-0.

The Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather bout will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. There were reportedly five options to host this event, but the Miami Gardens' venue finally won the push. These two won't be able to go to the same weight class, so a 30-pound gap was proposed. With that decision, Mayweather couldn't exceed 160 pounds, while Paul should be under 190 lbs.
