Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are gearing up for another Grand Slam showdown, just weeks after their dramatic battle at Roland Garros, where the Spanish phenom mounted a historic comeback.
This time, the two top-ranked players in the ATP standings will meet in the Wimbledon final with not only the crown of England’s most prestigious tournament on the line — but also a major financial reward.
Alcaraz booked his ticket to the final by defeating American Taylor Fritz in four sets, while Sinner delivered a dominant performance to knock out tennis legend Novak Djokovic in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.
Sinner’s path to the final wasn’t without controversy. He advanced to the quarterfinals after Grigor Dimitrov — who had won the first two sets — was forced to retire with a pectoral injury. Still, the World No. 1 is through to the championship match, where the winner will take home £3 million (approximately $3.9 million USD).
Alcaraz leads in career prize money
Despite being ranked just behind Sinner and being younger in age, Alcaraz has already earned more in prize money than his Italian rival. According to official ATP data, Alcaraz has racked up over $45 million in career earnings, with $7.4 million coming in 2025 alone.

Sinner, by comparison, has earned $41.5 million in prize money to date. Even if Alcaraz were to lose the Wimbledon final, the payout for the runner-up ensures he will maintain his edge over Sinner in total career winnings.
Of course, these figures don’t take into account endorsement deals or off-court earnings, which are substantial for both players. But in terms of on-court success and monetary reward, Alcaraz continues to set the pace among the ATP’s elite.
