Kawhi Leonard has been famous for being a quiet player and not the typical NBA star that is getting attention wherever they go regardless of what they do, when and with who. Kawhi has been a quiet assassin on the court and when he’s not playing, it’s like he never existed.

The Klaw isn’t the most flashy player of all and his personality, as stated before, is very quiet and reserved. Nobody knows what Kawhi thinks and even when you ask him, the responses are often half-empty.

The Los Angeles Clippers took advantage of that when unveiling their new City Edition jerseys inspired by an LA-based artist. They shared a curious video on social media, describing the design and meaning behind the jersey, involving Paul George in the footage, but that’s not the best part of it.

Kawhi Leonard’s epic reaction to the Clippers new City Edition jersey

When Paul George appears on the video, the first thing he says is ‘I gotta show Kawhi.’ Then Leonard makes his appearance, reacting to the jersey as only he would react.

Kawhi is a fun guy, as he likes to call himself. He’s a different type of star and he doesn’t seem to enjoy the attention he receives, but Kawhi doesn’t hesitate to make people laugh in his own style.

“The 2020-21 City Edition uniform’s “Los Angeles” wordmark celebrates the authentic spirit of LA street culture. Inspired by world-renowned artist Mister Cartoon, the design features a reverse colorway from the ’19-20 uniform. This season, the LA Clippers and Mister Cartoon are challenging young creators, athletes, and innovators to Make Your Mark in Los Angeles. When the team wears City Edition on the court, it will be a symbol of our commitment to driving progress in LA and a call for the next generation of talent to put in the work!” is the description of the jersey according to the Clippers official website.

What wasn’t fun was the way Kawhi and the Clippers ended the past NBA season, blowing a 3-1 lead against the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the postseason. They’re looking to bounce back this season and hopefully, this jersey and its meaning can help them reach their goal.
