The Italian soccer league Serie A continues this weekend with Round 26 from Saturday, March 6, to Monday, March 8. The ongoing Round 25 is being played during the week, while the previous Round 24 didn't bring a change at the top of the table as Inter are still leading Milan with four points. In third is the inspired Juventus, followed by Atalanta, Roma, and Napoli, who currently sit in the sixth position.

In Round 26, reigning champions Juventus face Lazio on Saturday, March 6. The next day, second-placed Milan will attempt to get closer to Inter as they travel to Verona, while on Monday, March 8, the Nerazzurri and Atalanta clash in the second derby this round.

This round provides an opportunity for the bettor to play around with parlays, picks in the over/under, or goalscorers. Here are some sports betting predictions to consider when placing a bet on these Serie A matchups.

Juventus had six successive wins in the league in a period of one month in between their defeat to Inter, and their latest one to Napoli. It brought them closer to the top two sides of the table, jumping from the seventh to the third place. Since the defeat to Napoli, they have two wins and a draw in the league.

Meanwhile, Lazio were on a six-game winning streak until their 1-0 defeat to current league leaders Inter earlier in Round 22. Since then, they have a win, and another shocking defeat when they lost 2-0 to Bologna in Round 24. This game will see the two highest-scoring goalscorers this term, Immobile, and Ronaldo. The Italy international has scored 14 goals and added three assists so far, while on top is Ronaldo with 20 goals and two assists.

All things considered, betting that the game will have Over 3.5 goals could be a sure bet, so at +190, a $100 bet could earn the bettor $190 on DraftKings. In addition, the ones who like to dare could try to play with the correct final score, as a 3-1 final result is at +1150 at DraftKings.

If anyone knows how to stop favorites from winning this season, it's Hellas Verona. They have beaten Roma 3-0 once, drawn 0-0 with Juventus twice, and drawn 2-2 with Milan the first time they met in early November. The Yellow and Blues have had a very colorful season, from going home with a disappointing result against lower quality sides to surprising and upsetting big ones.

The Rossoneri, meanwhile, will certainly not have it easy as they are still struggling to find their 2020 form. They did send a strong message in the 2-1 win over Roma, suggesting that they will not give up on the fight for the Scudetto. However, the San Siro outfit will travel to Verona with a decimated squad, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hakan Calhanoglu surely being ruled out of the clash. In addition, Mario Mandzukic and Ismael Bennacer are expected to miss the game.

Betting that the first half will end with a draw, could be a sure bet at +117, a $100 bet could earn the bettor $117. Since Milan are the favored side by many oddsmakers, the odds of them winning the second half are +120, and a $50 bet could earn the bettor $60, as per DraftKings.

Inter vs Atalanta betting picks (Monday, March 8)

This exciting matchup is certainly going to be a test for Inter boss Antonio Conte. While hoping that Verona will take two points from Milan, Inter will have the chance to get further away from them by beating Atalanta on Monday. Inter are on the rise, as they haven't lost a league game since January 6, when Sampdoria caused a 2-1 upset. Since then, they have managed Serie A triumphs over Juventus, Milan, and Lazio, proving they can take on the challenges.

On the other side, Atalanta have improved vastly in 2021, compared to their initial struggles at the start of the season. An indication of that is they have lost only one league game this calendar year so far. Their only loss is on January 31, against Lazio. Having both teams' current form in mind, FanDuel are favoring Inter by a small margin, as the Nerazzurri are paying out -107, Atalanta +260, and a draw is at +270.

Parlays for these three matchups of Serie A Round 26

A solid parlay bet could be the following: Juventus to beat Lazio 3-1, Inter and Atalanta to draw. In addition, Hellas Verona and Milan to go into half-time with a draw, and the Rossoneri to win the second half. At $100, the bettor could win up to $1,657.
