John Calipari and the Arkansas Razorbacks will have to get creative in the transfer portal.

John Calipari knows one thing or two about landing the best prospects in all of college basketball. However, things are different now in college basketball because of the transfer era.

That’s why the Arkansas Razorbacks, just like all other teams, will look very different next season. Multiple players will pursue NIL deals and more playing time somewhere else.

With that in mind, Sportskeeda reported that they will lose three not-so-crucial contributors to the transfer portal next season: Casmir Chavis, Melo Sanchez, and Zvonimir Ivisic.

Ivisic will join his brother at Illinois, while Sanchez tries his luck somewhere else after not getting much of a run in Arkansas. The same will be the case with Chavis.

To add insult to injury, John Calipari will also have to get by without his two best players, as Adou Thiero and Boogie Fland have both declared for the 2025 NBA Draft.

Then again, if the fans can trust someone to get deals done and land some of the best players in the nation, it is definitely John Calipari, and it’ll be interesting to see him work his magic again.
