Heās hitting .281 with six home runs and 19 RBI. And with a 15-game hit streak and a 27-game on-base streak, he firmly believes that heās ready to embrace a bigger challenge.

Of course, the Guardians canāt bank on a rookie to get them out of trouble, but they need to give him a chance, whether itās to make a late-season playoff run or not make this a total waste of a campaign.
DeLauter has struggled with multiple injuries since being drafted in 2022, but while durability will always be a concern, he has the talent and potential to give this team the offensive and motivational boost they need.
