The NBA returns to normal in the new season 2021-22 after several problems related to Covid-19 and the Olympic Games that caused changes in the dates and format of the NBA. The Opening Night of the NBA will be on October 19 with a game in Milwaukee and another in California.

The first game of the Opening Night for the 2021-22 season on the NBA will be between the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 PM (ET) and will be broadcast in United States by TNT and NBA League Pass. Steve Nash has another opportunity to show his leadership as head coach with the Nets, since he became head coach in 2020, the Nets have been playing better.

The second game of the Opening Night will be an interesting game in California, fun rivalry to watch, Golden State Warriors play on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers at 10:00 PM (ET), the game will be available on television, apps and the internet by TNT and NBA League Pass.

NBA 2021/22 start: Games for the NBA 2021 Opening Night

Brooklyn Nets open the new 2021-22 season against the Bucks, hoping this season will be as good as the last when they finished as the second-best team in the Eastern Conference with 48 wins and 24 losses. The Bucks finished one spot behind the Nets last season with a 46 wins and 26 losses but they end up winning the NBA Championship. 

The last game of Opening Night is a new opportunity for Golden State Warriors since they did not fare in the 2020-21 season, the team finished in eighth position in the Western Conference with 39 wins and 33 losses. LeBron James and the Lakers also did not have good results last season with 42-30 and 7th spot in the Western Conference, it was a mediocre season for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Opening Night is just a small sample of what the new season will be, the fans want everything to return to normal and the league to be as or more competitive than before. There are no changes to the playoff format despite the fact that some arenas do not allow full capacity due to Covid-19 rules.
