Patrick Mahomes didn’t have the best game Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, although his Kansas City Chiefs left the Hard Rock Stadium with the 12th victory of the 2020/21 NFL season after beating Miami 33-27.

They continued their good moment but Mahomes struggled against Miami’s defense, throwing three interceptions that could have cost the game for Kansas City. That was one more than he had thrown during the entire year, so it was a total surprise for people seeing Mahomes giving up the ball so easily.

After the game, Pat talked about his performance during the game and revealed how he feels and what he thinks when he gets intercepted. This isn’t new for the players, but having 3 INTs in one game was something unthinkable until yesterday.

Patrick Mahomes sends a strong message after throwing 3 INT against Dolphins

Mahomes revealed he’s not disconcerted when he gets intercepted and his mindset doesn’t change after he throws the ball to a defensive player. He knows it’s part of the job and he’s not bothered about it.

“I’ve always been someone if I throw an interception it’s not going to change my mentality,” Mahomes said, via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “I’m going to continue to fire, I’m going to continue to shoot the ball downfield, let my guys try to make plays. Whenever you start being timid after you throw an interception that’s how you lose games.”

In the end, they won the game even though the Dolphins had a very good afternoon, scoring 17 points in the last quarter. This team finds ways to win every single Sunday and they look as favorites as they were last season.

Mahomes is having a terrific season and the Chiefs are excited to see what’s next for them. They are the best team in the league and nothing nor nobody appears to be changing that anytime soon. Not even three interceptions in one game could really harm Mahomes and co.
