Jackson Blake has secured his future with the Carolina Hurricanes by signing an eight-year, $45 million contract extension. The deal, carrying an average annual value of $5.625 million, will begin in the 2026-27 season, locking in the promising young forward for the long term.

At just 21 years old, Blake showed impressive potential during his rookie campaign last season, recording 34 points (17 goals, 17 assists) over 80 regular-season games. He also contributed six points (three goals, three assists) in 15 postseason games, proving to be a valuable asset in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Entering the final year of his entry-level contract, Blake was on track to become a restricted free agent after the upcoming season. However, this new extension provides stability for both player and team moving forward.
