Alphonso Davies was ruled out of the 2021 Gold Cup through injury afterhe hurt his ankle in training, as the Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team stated. Shortly after his injury, Davies was confirmed outfor the tournamentand he went back to Germany to begin his recovery process.
