After years of waiting, we’re finally on the verge of witnessing another side of the story. Space Jam: A New Legacy, once again brings together the life of a basketball superstar with a cartoon universe.
Nonetheless, even though <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/lebron-james-t92259" target="_blank" rel="noopener">LeBron James</a> has gotten some positive comments on his acting, it seems like critics just can’t stand the movie, as they’ve given it a 43% score on Rotten Tomatoes along with some pretty harsh reviews.

New York Magazine/Vulture: “It fills a two-hour hole in the schedule, which will keep parents happy, and it brandishes the brand, which will keep shareholders happy. Whether it could have also been a good movie might not have crossed anyone’s mind.”
The New York Times: “Several jokes actually stick. But the purposeful sensory overload mostly yields head-spinning stupefaction, leaving a viewer feeling like Wile E. Coyote after hitting a mesa wall.”
The Hollywood Reporter: “To whom this is meant to appeal is anyone’s guess, except presumably the studio’s marketing department.”
The Atlantic: “Space Jam: A New Legacy feels like a preview of a more terrifying, siloed future, one in which having an encyclopedic media library is more important than enjoying the work right in front of you.”

Then again, let’s be honest for a second here. It’s not like we’re watching a WWII documentary. It’s a movie about an NBA player teaming up with Buggs Bunny to beat some goons from outer space, so maybe we should go easy on them.

There was a lot of speculation and rumors around the <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/nba-t19117" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBA </a>and Hollywood as soon as they announced that <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/lebron-james-t92259" target="_blank" rel="noopener">LeBron James</a> was going to star in Space Jam: A New Legacy, the sequel from that legendary film by <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/michael-jordan-t85627" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michael Jordan</a> and the Looney Tunes.
The first and biggest of those rumors, obviously, was that LeBron was going to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers again and sign with the <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/los-angeles-lakers-t101482" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Los Angeles Lakers</a>,as he looked to be closer to Hollywood while continue to pursue glory in the hardwood.
And, now that he’s fresh off <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/nba/video-lebron-james-reacts-to-winning-finals-mvp-20201009-0020.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">winning his fourth NBA Championship</a> and leading the purple-and-gold to <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/nba/nba-rings-teams-with-most-championships-20200929-0008.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">yet another ring</a>, we’ll finally get to see something other than the leaked uniforms for this movie, aswriter/director Ben Mekler leaked the synopsis online.

We already knew that the movie was going to focus more on LeBron and his family and less on other NBA players, as James reportedly had a tough time recruiting stars to join him in the film because they didn’t want to take time off from their workouts.
