Therearen’t two teams inMLBthat hate each other more than the New York Yankees and Red Sox. Hell, the Yankees vs Red Sox rivalry may even be the biggest in all sports. It goes far beyond the field.

Throughout the course of history, the Bronx Bombers have found more success as a team than the Red Sox. They’re the winningest team in Major League Baseball history but still, they had a tough time getting past Boston when they had to face off.

That’s no longer the case. Aaron Boone’s Yankees have completely owned the Red Sox over the past couple of years, up to the point where the Yankees vs Red Sox rivalry has reached its most lopsided point ever.

Total Dominance

The Yankees recently completed a 3-game series sweep over the Red Sox to extend their winning streak over them to 9 games. They’re a perfect 6-0 vs Boston this season and have now won14 out of their past 15 matchups.

Is This Ever Going To End?

Well, we already knew that the Yankees and Red Sox were going to be on the opposite side of the standings this season. Boston lost Mookie Betts and theirpitching rotation woes have only been topped by their lack of scoring.

The Yankees, on the other hand, entered the season as one of the toughest teams out of the American League and haveanobligation to put an end to their World Series drought. They’re stacked and have a far superior roster than Boston, so yeah, it may be a while before the Red Sox can get back at them.
