There’s no doubt that James Harden is one of the greatest scorers in NBA history. He’s savvy and has a never-ending bag of tricks to fool defenders and put the ball inside the hoop over and over.

Nonetheless, Harden has turned a lot of heads lately due to his physical condition. He showed to the Houston Rockets’ training camp looking 15 pounds overweightand then dropped all of that extra weight all of a sudden when they traded him to the Brooklyn Nets.

Harden has been a bit of a shape-shifter lately. He drops a lot of weight, then looks chubby again in a matter of days, leaving people to wonder exactly what’s on his diet and how are his eating habits.

James Harden’s Diet

Back in 2016, Harden opened up to USA Today about his nutrition. However, a lot of things have changed in his life ever since, as he had to add 15 pounds of muscle a couple of years ago to make the most of his talents. Now, Harden claims to have exactly that kind of diet you’d expect from an NBA player.

“Harden always keeps his fridge stocked with a variety of breakfast foods like Eggs, turkey, bacon, potatoes.Fresh fruit also adds a great value to the diet of any athlete. Harden too has included fresh fruits like pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, apples and oranges in his diet,” reported Sportswallah.

“For a pre-game meal, Harden sticks with pasta and a source of protein, like grilled chicken, to keep him satisfied and energized through the final buzzer. In fish he loves Seabass and halibut which are two of his favorites,” continued the report.

James Harden’s Cheat Meal

However, there’s no way that a guy can gain that much weight eating seabass and eggs. That’s why, when asked about his favorite cheat meal, Harden admitted to being a huge fan of “cookies, ice cream, brownies, hot fudge sundaes,” even though he said that he’s not much of a“candy or chips” kind of guy.
