The James Harden saga is still taking place and nobody knows where he’ll end up this season or the next one. The Houston Rockets shooting guard has been linked with a lot of rumors in recent days after he requested a trade from the team at the start of the offseason.

Harden has been involved in plenty of controversies lately and the Rockets are working to get a deal done for their superstar. The trade packages for Harden must be really good to unlock negotiations for the player.

The Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers were reported as the favorites teams to land the Beard before the Boston Celtics and Portland Trail Blazers joined them. The terms of the trade are the last obstacle before the 2018 NBA MVP finds a new team in the association, so nothing is certain right now.

NBA insider says James Harden is likely to land in Philadelphia

An NBA insider reports that out of all those teams, the Sixers have the advantage over the rest to acquire Harden’s services. Of course, this would be a blockbuster trade but Philly seems to be the frontrunners to get this deal done.

A lot has been said about this, with some people claiming Ben Simmons will go to Houston in return for Harden and other contradicting reports suggesting Simmons isn’t moving from Philadelphia.

Via Henry Abbott of True Hoop:

“The list of teams where he might end up grows and shifts daily—it’s this NBA season’s favorite topic. But many insiders believe Philadelphia is most likely. Harden wants to be there, Morey loves Harden so much he was just fined $50,000 for an automated Tweet praising Harden. And the 76ers have Ben Simmons, the kind of young star Stone seeks in return.”

This situation is still developing but as the days go by, it looks like we’re clsoer to know Harden’s new destination. Only time will tell what will happen here but Harden is definitely out of Houston.
