Without a doubt, one of the most significant moves of this offseason was the arrival of Russell Wilson as the new quarterback of the New York Giants. In fact, even his new teammates have been surprised by the veteran QB’s talent, as he sets his sights on taking his new team deep into the NFL season.

Wan’Dale Robinson will be one of the offensive options available to the former Steelers quarterback starting in Week 1, and it was the wide receiver himself who admitted to being stunned by Wilson’s impressive talent. The hope now is that the veteran QB can pass that same energy and skill on to the rest of the team.

“The first time we threw, me and Slay were both like, this is actually better than we expected. And so we were ecstatic about it, and couldn’t be more happy that he’s our quarterback,” Robinson said via nbcsports.com.

Robinson, who will be one of the main options alongside Darius Slayton and Malik Nabers, highlighted the leadership that Wilson has brought since his arrival in the Big Apple.

“The way he just commanded, even just that little session of just the three of us, me, Slay, and Theo. It was just kinda like, we haven’t had a quarterback that’s just gonna command everything, and you know exactly what you want. So, he’s been great,” he said.

What can we expect from the Giants next season?

With the arrival of Russell Wilson, the New York Giants are entering the new season with renewed hope and a clear leader under center. The veteran quarterback brings experience, poise, and a winning mentality that the team hopes will elevate their performance across the board.

Head coach Brian Daboll is aiming to establish a strong balance between offense and defense. While Wilson is expected to ignite the passing game, the coaching staff is equally focused on building a disciplined and aggressive defensive unit to keep them competitive in tight matchups.

One of the key players on that side of the ball will be Abdul Carter, whose raw talent and versatility have generated plenty of buzz. The Giants are determined to become serious contenders in their division and are preparing to challenge the Philadelphia Eagles for NFC East supremacy.
