The moneyline bet in the UFC and MMA is a bet you place on a straight winner. In this case, X fighter will have odds placed be it a – or + sign, a minus sign is a reference to the favorite and the plus is for the underdog. Underdogs pay out more since according to experts, they have the least chance to win a fight.

An over/under rounds bet is when you think a fight will end after a specific round. Like boxing, you are betting that a fight will go OVER or UNDER 2.5 rounds. If the fight ends after and you placed over you lose your bet. It is important to know each fighter's history before placing a bet on this option. Some fighters go longer others are knockout experts.

The method of victory bet is when you bet that a fight will be decided by either knockout (KO), technical knockout (TKO), decision, or submission. There is also the option of Disqualification (DQ) if a fighter hits below the belt or is doing something unsportsmanlike in any way.

A parlay is a single bet that combines two or more individual wagers for a higher payout. In this case, you will place 2 or more various outcomes of each fight you bet on and if you hit all those bets you win your ticket. If you lose one of let’s say 5 bets you lose the entire bet. In a parlay, you need all bets to hit in order to win.

Betting odds change a lot during a live MMA or UFC event, it is important to place your bets quickly. As the fight progress, the odds will either go lower or higher on a given fighter, as well as various options for a finish may pop up. You have to be ready to place the bet.
