It will start in 2026 and it’s a fan-friendly deal as viewership will have to invest way less money to watch marquee events.



Both Paramount and UFC’s parent company, TKO, announced that they reached a seven-year media rights agreement to make Paramount -and CBS- the exclusive home of the UFC in the United States.



The deal is up to $7.7 billion and it will “move away from UFC’s existing Pay-Per-View model in favor of making these premium events available at no additional cost to the expansive U.S. subscriber base of <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/paramount" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Paramount</a>+,” the official statement said. Paramount also announced that they will intend to explore UFC rights outside the United States as they become available.



<h2>This is good for fans in America</h2>



The UFC plans approximately 43 live events annually. Most weekends, you’ll find action inside the octagon. Out of those 43 events, 13 or so are catalogued as PPVs. Those events come at an additional cost of $79.99. Add to that a monthly subscription of $11.99 to now-former partner ESPN+. This means that if UFC fans wanted to see all the events, they would pay north of $1,100 per year.

With this new deal, you can forget about paying those heavy $79.99. You can find everything on Paramount+ as long as you are subscribed. As for now, you can get Paramount+ for $59.99 per year for the Essential Plan. There’s also a $119.99 annual fee for the Showtime Plan, which is ad-free and includes Showtime content. It remains to be seen whether Paramount will adjust prices once the deal kicks in, but even if they do so, it will still be cheaper than what it is now.

For both, this is a must-win fight. If Poirier loses, he ends his career on a loss and given that UFC 318 will be in his hometown of New Orleans, it’s double pain. As for Holloway, he would become the first fighter to lose multiple trilogies 0-3 (Volkanovski being the other one). Max would also lose spots in the ranking, lose the BMF belt and getting beat by a retiring fighter. This goes well and beyond money.

One of the most iconic figures in mixed martial arts history is gearing up for a comeback. <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/conor-mcgregor">Conor McGregor</a> has officially started the process of reentering the UFC, and true to form, the Irishman didn’t wait long to fire a warning shot.



McGregor revealed in a recent interview with The Schmo that he’s now back in the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/ufc">UFC</a>’s anti-doping program—his first official step toward making a return to the cage.



“They’re testing me. I’m in the pool. I thought that’s what the pools were for, jumping in and out, but I’m back in the pool,” McGregor said, confirming his return to the USADA pool.



With fans eager to know what’s next for the former featherweight and lightweight champion, McGregor delivered a strong message: “Get ready and stay ready because damage will be done”.

McGregor’s comeback could take place on one of the biggest stages in UFC history. “Oval office. White House card,” the Irish star hinted, suggesting his return might be scheduled for a major Independence Day event on July 4, 2026.

Since then, McGregor’s future in MMA has remained uncertain, with speculation swirling and fans awaiting a definitive update—until now.



<h2>Another legend could join the card</h2>



McGregor might not be the only UFC legend returning for the historic White House event. Recently retired heavyweight champion Jon Jones has also hinted at making a comeback on the same card.



“I think it’s exciting. Very exciting. I can’t promise anything, but I have a strong feeling I’ll be at that event,” Bones said, further fueling anticipation for what could become one of the most star-studded UFC nights in history.
