Tiger Woods and Jupiter Links will have one last chance to make the playoffs in TGL when they face Atlanta Drive next Tuesday. What the legend didn’t expect is that his opponent has a big surprise in store for him.

Atlanta Drive have officially signed Nick Dunlap to a one-match contract. This means that the 2024 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year will have the opportunity to share the big stage with one of his childhood idols. Here is his opinion in an interview with The Scoop about what it means to play against Tiger.

“He is somebody that I looked up to my entire golfing career. I think he’s the greatest to ever do it. He’s the reason I got into golf. I grew up watching his videos. I didn’t kind of get to see his prime, his 2000 years, but he’s remarkable. He’s done more for this game than anybody. To be on a similar stage with him and to play against him is going to be really cool. I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Can Tiger Woods make the TGL playoffs with Jupiter Links?

Tiger Woods and Jupiter Links can make the TGL playoffs if they win their last match against Atlanta Drive and New York loses to Boston. This way, they would secure one of the four available spots for the next round.

Currently, the teams that are already qualified for the playoffs are The Bay, Los Angeles Golf Club, and Atlanta Drive. Meanwhile, three teams are fighting for the last spot in the finals: Jupiter Links, New York, and Boston.

Another scenario for Tiger and his team to make it to the TGL playoffs is an overtime loss against Atlanta combined with a New York loss to Boston, and winning more holes than New York.
