To say that this is the most unique season in MLB history could be an understatement. The league has tried to innovate in a tough context and, apparently, New York Yankees' Aaron Judge isn't fond of their latest idea.

The league took a page out of the NBA's book and put together a 'bubble' for the postseason, with teams set to meet in California and Texas to play in neutral-ground games, even in the World Series.

According to Judge, the league isn't actually rewarding winning teams with this idea as there won't be any true home-field advantage anymore, and the fact that players will have to leave their families only makes it worst.

Aaron Judge Blasts MLB Postseason Bubble

“I’m not a fan of it, not a fan of the bubble, not a fan of the whole setup. Like I said before, it doesn’t really reward a team for going out and winning. There’s really no home-field advantage anymore. If you’re telling me whoever is in first place can win as many games they want, but they’re only going to get three games that those first three games, that little series at home, that’s it, then I am a not a fan of that," Judge told the press.

“And to kind of be put into a bubble before the playoffs and during the whole thing, I felt we’ve kind of already been doing that this whole season and now we’re all kind of getting taken away from our families to go do this, Judge continued. “I am not a fan of it. So we’ll see how it plays out. It’s not gonna change how we approach it, what we want to do and what we want to accomplish in the year, but… I’m not a fan," the outfielder concluded.

Then again, Judge and the New York Yankees are on a mission this season and he must shifts his focus and mindset right away. Even if it's not the best or fairer plan, they still must fight with bones and nails to put an end to their World Series drought.
