LeBron James continues to cement his legacy not only in NBA history but also as one of the greatest, most dominant, and durable athletes to ever live, even becoming one ofthe oldest Finals MVPs in the history of the game.

James has often been called out and questioned. Some people don’t like him, some don’t believe he’s the greatest player of all time, and that’s all fair. However, there’s no denying that he’s ruled the league at will since 2003.

The King has been around for 17 years now and has reached the NBA Finals 10 times. That means he’s more likely to go the distance and make that stage than not, which is almost unprecedented.

And perhaps what surprises people the most is the fact that a soon-to-be 36-year-old player in his 17th season can still play at an elite level, even if his haters are still waiting for his downfall and father time to catch up with him.

LeBron James Warns The NBA: I’m Not Going Anywhere.

That’s why, in the wake of winning his fourth NBA Championship – with his third franchise – the 17-year veteran warned the rest of the league by saying: ā€œI’ve got a lot of years left,ā€ according to ESPN.

James averaged 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists through the six games of the NBA Finals and looked as sharp, athletic, and fast as he did when he made it to the league at the ripe age of 18.

He’s taken a step back to Anthony Davis and that clearly helped him stay fresh throughout the season, meaning he could even prolong his career for another 4, 5 years, or even try and top Vince Carter’s record of 22 seasons in the NBA.

LeBron takes elite care of his body and has a relentless work ethic, so yeah, he’s definitely not going anywhere any time soon, and that’s terrible news for the rest of the players who want to win a ring.
