The Denver Nuggets made one of the best moves of the NBA trade deadline by acquiring 24-year-old power forward Aaron Gordon, who had requested to be traded away from the Orlando Magic.
For the first time in his career, Gordon will play with a true playmaker like Nikola Jokic and more importantly, heāll play for a true championship contender, which means heās likely to be extra motivated.
And judging by his first game with his new team, the Nuggets are going to be scary good and ready to match up vs. the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers thanks to his athleticism and defense.

He saw that if heās open, the ball is going to find him. Really good debut for him,ā Jokic said.
Itās clear that Gordon is a perfect fit for the Nuggets. They struggled at the four last season with Paul Millsap and will now get a high-flying freakish athlete with a great feel for defense. So look out, NBA, the Nuggets arenāt going away any time soon.
