Adding to the uncertainty, ESPN insider Shams Charania reported that the Suns are open to trade discussions involving Durant. The team is also reportedly evaluating the future of Bradley Beal, who failed to meet expectations this season.

Rich Paul weighs in on Durant’s next move

While Durant’s next destination remains uncertain, NBA agent Rich Paul, who represents LeBron James, emphasized that any team looking to acquire Durant must have championship aspirations.

“Whichever team wants to add a [Kevin Durant] at this stage in his career has to be looking to win a championship,” Paul said, via NBA on ESPN.
