The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back from a tough loss to the Chicago Bulls. They responded with a solid win over the Memphis Grizzlies. This victory keeps them in fourth place in the Western Conference and moves them closer to the playoffs. Austin Reaves played a key role in the win. He showed off his impressive offensive skills throughout the game. However, head coach JJ Redick chose not to focus on individual efforts. Instead, he highlighted the overall performance of the team’s offense.

After the win against the Memphis Grizzlies, JJ Redick was asked if this is the most in-sync offense he’s seen all season. After this, he did not hesitate to answer clearly and concisely. “Yeah, I would agree with that. I think there’s always stuff you can improve on, and you don’t want to say, like, ah, this is the best we can play offensively. We’ve played as well as we have played so far offensively.

After several games without strong offense, Austin Reaves, Luka Doncic, and LeBron James finally stepped up. Reaves led the team with 31 points. Luka followed with 29, and LeBron added 25. All three had a major impact on the team’s win. The Lakers now hope this level of play continues. With the NBA playoffs approaching, they need their stars performing at their best.

“It’s the first time I’ve heard him yell in a while…It was refreshing to be honest. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but it just shows how much he cares. His attention to detail is probably the standard. So, if all of us can lock into that every single possession, you can create something special,” stated Austin Reaves.
