The Los Angeles Lakers have had quite a tough time this season. They're the reigning NBA Champions and are arguably the deepest team in the league but they have a tough task ahead when they visit the red-hot Phoenix Suns for the playoffs.

The Lakers had to go through the play-in tournament to clinch that 7th seed, holding on to a narrow win over Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors. Then again, it's clear that they're not your average 7th seed.

LeBron James will once again put the team on his shoulders and demonstrate why he's one of the greatest players of all time. He's eager to earn the respect of his critics and silence them once and for all.

LeBron James Calls His Haters Out On Instagram Before The Start Of The Playoffs

Analysts and fans have doubted LeBron his entire career, especially now that he's aging. That's why The King took to Instagram with a lengthy message for those who are still doubting him:

“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat." James wrote.

For those who think those words ring a bell, it's actually because they were originally said by former President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt. Then again, they certainly apply to this situation as well.

I don't know about you, but LeBron James is one of the last persons I'd want to put my money against come playoff time. So, if you're still doubting him, it's not too late to just admit that you're wrong and give the man his flowers.
