It took him one groin injury, one pandemic, one bubble at Disney, and five games in the NBA Finals but LeBron James lived up to his word and now the Lakers are tied with the Boston Celtics as the team with most rings in the history of the NBA.

Not only did the King live by his word to lead the Lakers back to the postseason for the first time in 7 years but he also took them back to the ultimate stage for the first time in a decade, and capped it off by getting the Finals MVP honors.

King James has now led three different franchises to an NBA Championship. He did it on both conferences, with three different rosters, and winning four Finals MVP awards in the meantime.
The fact that James could put together this kind of run in year 17 and at almost 36 years old is yet another testament to his greatness. You may not like him and thatâs ok but you canât deny that heâs one of the greatest players to ever do it.
