Dak Prescott spoke about the arrival of George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys in an interview with 96.7 The Ticket. After that surprising trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the quarterback warned the rest of the NFL that their offense could become one of the best in the league alongside CeeDee Lamb.

“We’ve connected. I’m excited. You turn on the tape, you see a guy that can catch the football. You put the football anywhere in his vicinity, very strong hands. More than a 50/50 catcher. He thinks it’s his ball when it’s in the air. I’m excited for him. I know we needed some help at that position. I know CeeDee needs some help and I think when you have a guy like that, I heard George say it, it’s hard to double team two guys.”

The Cowboys haven’t won the Super Bowl since the 1995 season, and considering that the NFC East is one of the toughest divisions with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders, Jerry Jones had to make an all-in move.

Who is joining the Dallas Cowboys?

George Pickens has joined the Dallas Cowboys after a blockbuster trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Prescott admitted that the wide receiver will not only help Lamb, but also other players around the offense.

“Then, when you got other guys, whether it be Ferg, Jalen Tolbert, Mingo, guys who have had reps and know how to get open in the league, I think we’re putting together a nice group of weapons.”
