Things ended badly for the Las Vegas Raiders and Jon Gruden, the head coach resigned after a deep investigation revealed that the NFL found evidence pointing to Gruden as racist, misogenic and sexist. In addition to those hefty accusations, Gruden repeatedly taunted various NFL players.
The investigation began with an isolated issue, as one of the emails where Gruden referred to DeMaurice Smith in a racist way was found on the computers of the Washington Football Team during an investigation that had nothing to do with Jon Gruden or the Raiders. After the email went out, Jon Gruden said:
“That might not have been the best time of my life. I vented a lot. I never felt we were getting the truth and honesty. I’m ashamed I insulted De Smith,” Gruden said, adding, “I never had a racial thought when I used it. I’m embarrassed by what’s out there. I certainly never meant for it to sound that bad.” (In 2011, Gruden was working for ESPN.)
Rich Bisaccia is the new interim head coach after the resignation of Jon Gruden, he will be in charge of the Las Vegas Raiders until an official announcement is made about the new head coach, but there are chances that Bisaccia will keep the job for the remainder of the 2021 NFL season.

The firing of Jon Gruden is just helping prove that Colin Kaepernick was right.

So…..we’re talking a ton of emails well beyond Gruden. Starting to understand why the NFL wanted to settle with Kaepernick on his collusion case.

It was terrible of the cancel culture to create dozens of racist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic emails using Jon Gruden’s account all those years.

Sad thing is, yeah, Gruden is rightfully out of a job, but he’s not at all the only person in the league who thinks and talks that way. That’s why he felt so comfortable communicating like that.

This story does not end here, what happened to the other 650,000 emails found in the offices of the Washington Football Team, the Raiders fans have many questions about it. Jon Gruden cannot possibly be the only one who sent racist messages by email.
