The Buffalo Bills‘ hope of reaching a Super Bowl remains intact, despite the recent setback following their loss to the Chiefs last NFL season. To help achieve this goal, the front office ensured the retention of a key player on the roster, who will continue assisting Josh Allen in the pursuit of the championship.

Good news has arrived for Sean McDermott’s defense, as it has been confirmed that the talented Christian Benford will remain with the franchise for four more years, after agreeing to a lucrative contract extension worth $76 million.

The news was announced by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, who, through his official X (formerly Twitter) account, revealed the agreement between the former Villanova player and one of the top contenders in the AFC East.

Undoubtedly, the most significant deal was that of the current league MVP, Josh Allen, who, after lengthy negotiations, finalized a multimillion-dollar agreement with the Bills that ties him to the franchise for another six years, in exchange for $330 million.

Also joining the list are contract extensions for linebacker Terrell Bernard and edge rusher Gregory Rousseau, both securing four more years with the team. With these moves, it’s clear that Sean McDermott now has a solid foundation to continue making strides in the NFL.
