NFL 2022-2023: When does the next season start?

The upcoming NFL football season is going to be an exciting one with so many new quarterbacks in the league, fresh blood ready to showcase their best talent and most of them playing in the same conference.

Preparations for the upcoming season have already started long before the current season ends andafter Super Bowl LVI comes to an end at SoFi Stadium, the NFL and all franchises will execute plans for the 2022-2023 offseason, preseason and regular season.

There will be few changes for the new season, but it is expected that the NFL will carry out some measures that will not affect the performance of the teams in the game. Although there has been a lot of talk about the overtime situation and how problematic and unfair the overtime mode currently used by the league has been.

When does the 2022 NFL season start?

The new NFL season begins on September 8, 2022 and ends on June 8, 2023, the schedules of the teams will be releasedto the public in May. The NFL Draft is expected to take place ahead of schedule in April.

When does the 2023 NFL playoffs start?

The playoffs will be starting on January 14, 2023, there are no changes in the format of the playoffs, the teams play in the Wild Card Round, Divisional Round and Conference Championships. The Super Bowl will be played at State Farm Stadium.

What big players will not be present in the 2022 NFL season?

Two big quarterbacks will not play in the upcoming season, Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger have retired from the league and will no longer play with their teams. Brady was a multiple champion with seven Super Bowl rings and Roethlisberger won two rings with the Steelers.
