Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs have taken another important step to keep their defense competitive as they aim to win another Super Bowl. A key move in the free agency period.

According to a report by Adam Schefter, Charles Omenihu will stay with the team. ā€œSource: DE Charles Omenihu is returning to the Chiefs on a 1-year deal worth a maximum of $7 million.ā€

The offense will remain one of the best in the NFL with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, and Hollywood Brown. However, the defense has suffered significant losses, including Justin Reid.

Who just signed with the Chiefs?

In addition to Charles Omenihu (DT), the Chiefs have signed players such as Jerry Tillery (DT), JuJu Smith-Schuster (WR), Hollywood Brown (WR), Kareem Hunt (RB), Gardner Minshew (QB), Nick Bolton (LB), and Bailey Zappe (QB).

Furthermore, Travis Kelce has confirmed that he will not retire, Rashee Rice is finally returning after his serious injury, and Trey Smith was tagged to keep him on the team. However, the other big loss was Joe Thuney.
