It didn’t Patrick Mahomes very long before he proved that he’s the best quarterback in the NFL right now, and that he has a strong shot at ending up as the greatest quarterback of all time if he keeps playing the way he’s playing.

Mahomes has taken the league for assault since getting the starting job for the Kansas City Chiefs and it seems like there’s just no way to stop him and you can only hope to contain him. He can kill you with his legs or his arms and there’s literally nothing he can’t do on the gridiron.

Everyone’s running out of words to describe what the 25-year-old gunslinger is doing right now, and his critics are still waiting for him to get exposed. In fact, even Bill Belichick has now jumped aboardthe Patrick Mahomes train.

“All the superlatives that have been said about him, I’d just be repeating them all,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said following the Chiefs impressive win over the Ravens, according to ESPN’s Mike Weiss.

Coming from a guy who rarely said anything positive about anything at all – and that allegedly even mistreated Tom Bradyduring his time with the New England Patriots – that’s definitely the ultimate compliment.

Mahomes is putting together a Hall of Fame-worthy résumé despite not being around the league for that long, also amassing the largest contract in NFL history in the wake of his Super Bowl MVP campaign.
