As the Los Angeles Rams enjoyed a strong season last year, one standout performer was Puka Nacua. With hopes high for another Super Bowl run, the Rams announced on Monday the addition of Davante Adams from the New York Jets.

Adams joined the Jets last season after leaving the Las Vegas Raiders, reuniting with his former Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers. However, their reunion didn’t go as planned, as the Jets struggled throughout the season and failed to reach the playoffs.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, the Rams are counting on Nacua and Adams to strengthen their offense. Following the announcement of Adams’ arrival, Nacua shared his thoughts during an appearance on the St. Brown Podcast, delivering a memorable three-word reaction.

“I was at my teammate’s wedding out in Virginia,” Nacua recalled. “They had just finished their first dance when I felt my phone buzz. I pulled it out and answered immediately, no hesitation. I just turned around and said, ‘What’s up, Coach?’ He said, ‘I just wanted to call you and see what you thought about us getting Davante Adams.’
