He’s already a Super Bowl champion and one of the most disruptive dual-threat players in the NFL. That’s why the Seattle Seahawks never hesitated to get a deal done and sign him to one of the largest contracts in the history of professional sports. You could say that it would most likely keep Russ in Seattle until his retirement but that may no longer be the case.

Recently, there have been a couple of rumors regarding the possibility of Seattle trading away Russell to start a long-overdue rebuild. However, now it seems like the pressure to part ways could come from the quarterback’s camp and not from the team.

Apparently, Wilson’s environment is angry and frustrated due to the Seattle Seahawks’ inability to keep him safe, as he’s been sacked more times than any other quarterback in the world since he entered the NFL.
