There's no doubt that Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, and some would say that he's the all-time best thrower of the football, in terms of pure talent and his skill set.

That's why virtually every single team in the league will be trying to lure him at the end of this season, as he's expected to leave Lambeau Field for the first time in his career once this campaign is over.

Following a long standoff, number 12 agreed to come back to the Green Bay Packers under one condition and one condition only: To be able to choose the team he'll play for in 2022. But, what team will that be? Let's take a look at some options.

NFL: Where Will Aaron Rodgers Play In 2022?

San Francisco 49ers

It's never been a secret that Aaron Rodgers grew up a San Francisco 49ers fan. Also, they're far from pleased with what they've got from Jimmy Garoppolo, and Trey Lance was always a long-term project.

Rodgers would go back home to try and pursue a Super Bowl with his beloved team, and the 49ers would get a win-now quarterback to complement their elite defense and solid offensive weapons, while Lance would continue to develop.

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins want to win now and believe that they're good enough to do so. The only question is whether Tua Tagovailoa is the real deal or not. And more than that, whether they're willing to wait for him or not.

The Dolphins front office is aggressive and the team has enough draft capital to make potentially any deal work, and they could even try and move Tua to get some of those assets in return.

New Orleans Saints

Let's be honest for a second here: Neither Jameis Winston nor Taysom Hill is going to be the New Orleans Saints' quarterback for long. But it would be a waste to see this well-round, well-coached team fail because of their issues at that spot.

Rodgers would get to demolish opposing defenses inside the dome, would have an elite running game at his disposal, and a defense that's proven to be one of the best in the league. What's not to like?

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Green Bay Packers are one of the teams with more tradition and history around the NFL, and Aaron Rodgers would be leaving there to join another of the all-time greats, taking over for Ben Roethlisberger who's likely to retire.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have one of the best defenses in the league and a somewhat decent receiving corps. They'd add another historically great quarterback to their books and Rodgers could compete for a ring right away.

Las Vegas Raiders

And last but not least, we find Jon Gruden's Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders were expected to move on from Derek Carr but that hasn't happened yet because they haven't been able to find an upgrade under center.

Adding Aaron Rodgers would put the cherry on top of the sundae for a team that just relocated and is eager to become a marquee franchise in the NFL again. Having Rodgers on the team would be the main attraction at the Sin City.
