Finally, months before the main event takes place, the Concacaf qualifiers for the Olympics began.
After so much time, the excitement is back as there’s a lot of expectation tosee whichcountries from the region will be represented at Tokio.In the last edition of the Concacaf Qualifiers, Mexico and Honduras were the two teams that made their way into Río 2016.

2021Concacaf Men’s Olympic Qualifying Championship Format
Eight Concacaf U-23 MenNational Teamscompete for twoTokio 2020 spots. The winner and the runner-up will be awarded those places to play inthemain event of sports. Thepre olympic competition is held in Guadalajara, Mexico, at the stadiums Akron and Jalisco. The eight sides will be divided into two groups of four teams each, and the first two of both will advance to the semifinals. The ones who get to the final qualify to the Tokio Olympic Games.

The tournament take place from March 18 to 30 at Guadalajara, Mexico. The group stage was played from March 18to 25. Semifinals will be held on March 28th, at Estadio Jalisco and the final with the two qualified teams will take place on March 30 at Estadio Akron.
