La Roja are in the eighth place of the table with 10 points, thanks to two wins, four draws and five losses. They are coming to this match after defeating Paraguay at home 2-0 and want to confirm this good result with another win. 

Meanwhile, La Vinotinto got their second win in the tournament against Ecuador (2-1) last time out. They are still at the bottom of the standings but that doesn’t mean they won’t try to get points from their visit to Chile on Thursday.
