At 40 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo remains a dominant figure in world soccer. He continues to be Portugalâs top star, on track to play in his sixth World Cup, while also shining for Al Nassr. Now, a rival coach in the Saudi Pro League has offered an eye-opening opinion on CR7.
âRonaldo is an example at 40 years old. You see some Al Nassr games now, but I am there,â began Jorge Jesus during a talk at the Forum of the National Association of Football Coaches. âHe is still a young player, given his performance in the game.â
This praise carries special weight, considering that Jesus is the coach of Al Hilal, one of Al Nassrâs primary rivals in the Saudi Pro League. Currently, Al Hilal sit second in the standings with 57 points, closely followed by Al Nassr with 51.
The coach then spoke about Ronaldoâs future. âHonestly, I donât know how long he will continue,â Jesus said. âBecause he is a 100 percent professional, he takes care of himself like no other player in the world, and that is why he is 40 years old and still going.â

Ronaldo will soon face Jorge Jesus
