Luis Diaz to Newcastle United

According to SporTV, FC Porto and Colombian national team winger Luis Diaz is on Newcastle’s shortlist. The Colombian has been playing very well at Porto and caught the eye of many around the world after his strong performances at the Copa America in Brazil this past summer.

Diaz began his career at Barranquilla FC before moving to Colombian powerhouse Junior before his big European move to FC Porto in 2019. Since then, he has played 67 games and scored 18 goals in Portugal. On the Colombian national team he has 29 caps and 7 goals.

Diaz has interest from clubs such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea. His high transfer value is because Porto have him signed up until June of 2024, anyone interested in the player must pay his release clause.
