Raheem Sterling may be playing his final games for Manchester City, as the 26-year-old winger has found first team minutes hard to come by this season. Since the arrival of Jack Grealish and other options the England international has only started in two games this season for Pep Guardiola’s side.

According to a report from The Express, Sterling is open to a move away from City in the January transfer window. Sterling had stated at the Sports US summit that, “If there was an opportunity to go somewhere else [for more game time], I would be open to it at this moment in time,”.

That time seems to be now as Newcastle United, Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Liverpool are rumored destinations. Here are Raheem Sterling’s chances to play for those sides.

Stuck in relegation positions, Newcastle United need help and fast to avoid the drop, especially given the momentum the club has following the arrival of a new ownership group. Sterling would fit in right away at Newcastle, the question is would he find playing there challenging?

Real Madrid is the safe bet for Sterling, who could be an impact player and could challenge for playing time. It would not be easy, but his stock would rise heavily in a Madrid jersey. He certainly has the tools to make a difference.

Same as with Newcastle, why would Sterling go to Arsenal? Arsenal could use the help and Sterling could be a go to player at the club, but it’s a step down from City.

Liverpool would be the ideal home for Sterling, he would be a starter, mostly, he would be fighting for a top position in the league and in Europe and he certainly fits into the system.
