<p>Before the start of the <strong>2020/21 <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/nba-t19117" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBA</a> season</strong>, the name of <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/james-harden-t120183" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>James Harden</strong></a> was everywhere, as the Beard had requested a trade from the <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/houston-rockets-t102082" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Houston Rockets</strong></a>. That was a huge success and everybody had something to say about Harden and his future in the <strong>NBA</strong>.</p>
<p>Plenty of teams were linked with him, some with more possibilities to acquire his services than others, but the Beard was a sought-after star. Now things have cooled off for the player and his team and some reports have seen the light explaining what happened during the days where a trade was “imminent” for the 2018 NBA MVP.</p>
<p>One of the teams that was linked with Harden were the <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/miami-heat-t100209" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Miami Heat</a>, runners-up of the 2020 NBA Finals. The Floridian teams have the luxury to have a series of talented young players that could have unlocked a trade for Harden, but they never pulled the trigger on this move.</p>

<p>In the end, nothing happened for the Heat and Harden and even Jimmy Butler shut down any rumor suggesting the team was interested in the shooting guard’s services. Now, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald shed light on what Miami would have put on the table to get one of the best scorers in NBA history.</p>
<p><em>“According to an NBA source in regular contact with the team, the Heat was open to offering a couple of its young players — potentially combined with a 2025 first-rounder if OKC unlocks the 2023 pick,” Jackson wrote. “Andre Iguodala and Kelly Olynyk would be needed to facilitate the trade from a cap standpoint, because of trade restrictions involving five other Heat veterans.”</em></p>
<p>It’s unclear if that would have been enough for the Rockets, who are reportedly looking to get a young player with potential or an established star in order to trade Harden. Perhaps one of those young players was the key to unlock negotiations and made a blockbuster trade between the Heat and Rockets.</p>
<p>Miami are now having trouble finding their touch after a magical 2019/20 season and perhaps it’s time to think about moving a couple of pieces in order to get James Harden, who could be the piece they need to win a new championship.</p>

<p>A potential arrival of Harden in Golden State has been discussed in recent days but nothing is certain now. The Warriors have a lot of things to figure out after they stopped being that dominant team that ruined Harden’s plans to become an NBA champion.</p>

<p>Klay Thompson is one of the Splash Brothers and one of the finest shooters in the history of the NBA. Thompson has hit the leaderboard with three points in just eight seasons and is 18th in his career (1,798). <p>The shooting skills were Reggie Miller’s tag line. Miller ended his career with the second most effective career, shot just under 40% of the three for his career (39.5 percent). <p>Harden has been one of the league’s top scorers over the past five seasons. The two-time scoring champion had three straight seasons, averaging at least thirty points, all the more than the players on my list.</p>
<p>The 2011 Sixth Man of the Year made the transition from a rotation player to a powerhouse in less than a decade, and Harden’s supremacy was on full display during the 2017-18 season as he received the MVP trophy. West’s 27-point season score average helped him finish his career with the 22nd-most points in the history of the league as well as a single-point championship. <p>We are never going to see anyone like Kobe Bryant again. He won five NBA championships with the Lakers, stayed his entire career, and regularly made his case a top-two shooting guard to have ever existed. <p>The league as a result immediately announced the cancellation of the game between the <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/houston-rockets-t102082" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rockets</a> and Thunder and announced that <strong>Harden would be fined $50,000 for his actions.</strong> Harden took to social media to defend himself stating that he had attended a party of a friend who was recently promoted and thought that he was following the proper protocol. Although the video suggest otherwise.</p>
<p>This fine is yet another episode of early season drama between <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/james-harden-t120183" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><b>James Harden</b></a>and the Houston Rockets, as earlier in the season Harden made it known that he would like to leave Houston to have a chance to compete for a championship.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/seattle-sounders-t118135" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Seattle Sounders</a> were pioneers in attracting A-listers as owners. When the team began play in 2007 the club was an instant success story. The Sounders came out of the gate flying, getting into the playoffs and winning championships. <p>When <strong>David Beckham</strong> signed with the L.A. Galaxy in 2007, he ushered in a new era for MLS and the beginning of the league truly taking off. Beckham had it written in his contract that he could become a team owner when he retired. Miami became an obsession for Beckham, and after many failed attempts finally got the team off the ground in 2018. Today,<a href="https://us.bolavip.com/inter-miami-t53162" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Inter Miami</a> has played their first full season and will soon open their own Soccer Specific Stadium.</p>

<p>From the court to the boardroom, <strong>Kevin Durant</strong> became an investor of the <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/philadelphia-union-t115462" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Philadelphia Union</a> in June of 2020. Durant has a 5% stake in the club with an option to purchase an additional 5% at a later date. Durant tried to buy into D.C. United twice but in the end, said deal did not go through. Durant is a big soccer fan and stated that observing how these teams impacted their city’s businesses and communities appealed to him.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/houston-dynamo-t115464" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Houston Dynamo</a> have two big names in their ownership group, boxing legend and promoter <strong>Oscar de la Hoya</strong> and NBA superstar <strong>James Harden</strong>. “The Beard” owns an estimated 5% while the “Golden Boy” is said to have up to 50% stake in the club. <p><strong>LAFC</strong> certainly came on to the scene with a bang, with an ownership group of who’s who the team needed to live up to that a-list standard. They did, <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/los-angeles-fc-t72172" target="_blank" rel="noopener">LAFC</a> has been to the MLS Playoffs in each of their first three seasons and until the pandemic hit, LAFC sold out every home game. <p>The Wolf of Wall Street actor, <strong>Matthew McConaughey,</strong> brought some much needed positive energy to Austin FC when it was announced he would be part-owner of the team in 2019. It is important to remember Austin FC was heavily criticized because then Columbus Crew Owner, Anthony Precourt wanted to move the Crew to Austin. This caused a huge backlash on social media, enter Matthew McConaughey, and that incident is hardly a memory now.</p>
