In an interview with New York Daily News Conforto stated <em>“I have had conversations with the guys this offseason about what the goal is and that’s winning as many games as we can and proving ourselves …There has been a lot of hype around our team. I’ve had teams that have had a lot of hype, this team has some hype. We have got the bats; we have got Syndergaard coming back and we have got the pitching.”</em></p>
<p><strong>The New York Mets</strong> are coming off a bleak season which saw the team win 26 games and lose 34, the Mets finished one spot above last place in the National League East. Since then, things have been a bit chaotic for the club, who <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/mlb/reactions-jared-porter-fired-as-mets-gm-for-sending-explicit-images-to-female-reporter-20210119-0008.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recently fired GM Jared Porter</a> after he sent explicit photos to a female journalist in 2016.</p>
<p>Conforto went on to say <em>“hype doesn’t mean anything in the offseason… It’s all about what you are going to go out there and do in spring training and how you prepare and how you get ready for the season.”</em> For the New York Mets who have not made the playoffs since 2016, it could be the start of a new era.</p>

<p>Nonetheless, <strong>Connor Byrne of MLB Trade Rumors </strong>believes that they just won’t be able to sign Bradley Jr right now. They could only pursue Bauer – who’s also been sought-after by the Los Angeles Dodgers – if they sign the outfielder to a short-term deal, which is not what he’s looking for:</p>
<p><em>“As for Bradley, </em><strong>the Mets are more focused on a short-term deal, whereas the 30-year-old may want a longer pact, </strong>(Andy)<em>Martino suggests. The longtime member of the Red Sox is clearly the top center fielder left on a market that lost George Springer to the Blue Jays last week, so he may be in better position to secure a large guarantee,”</em> read the report.</p>

<p>There have been a lot of conflicting reports lately regarding the future of <strong>Trevor Bauer,</strong> arguably the biggest name in <strong><a href="https://us.bolavip.com/mlb-t48464" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Major League Baseball</a> </strong>free agency after most stars already secured a new deal.</p>
<p>Bauer is coming off the best season of his career and even though it was a shortened season, his numbers during his 11 starts – i<strong>ncluding a 100-to-17 strikeout-to-walk ratio</strong> – are widelyimpressive.</p>
