Giannis Antetokounmpo is the guy everybody’s talking about in the NBA right now, and not only because of how good of a player he is but because he’ll have plenty of teams waiting in line to try and snatch him away from the Milwaukee Bucks.

Giannis is eligible to sign a max contract extension with the Bucks and he’s stated his desire to build a winning culture with the organization. Then again, we’ve already seen and heard that story countless times.

And, with teams like the Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and even Miami Heat trying to make a run at him, he’s going to be the most sought-after asset we’ve seen in a lot of time.

Miami Sports Host Says Giannis Is Ready To Sign A Deal With The Miami Heat

Moreover, Miami radio sports host Ashley Nicole claims that even though the Golden State Warriors have the best trade package for Giannis, he’s not ready to commit to them and would rather sign with the Miami Heat instead:

“Per sources, the #Warriors have prepared a very intriguing package for the #Bucks in their own pursuit of Giannis. the package includes SF Andrew Wiggins — however, Giannis is not prepared to sign a long-deal with the team,” Nicole reported.

“Adding to this, Giannis splits his offseason between Greece and Miami. per sources, he’s prepared to sign a long-term deal in Miami. The #Bucks are not willing to end up with nothing by letting him hit free agency in 2021. A deal is expected before them,” she added on a follow-up Tweet.

The Milwaukee Bucks aren’t going to let their best player go away for free, that’s obvious. However, Giannis would have to reach out to them and open up about his desire to leave if they want to make the most of that situation. Otherwise, they risk losing him for nothing in return after spending a full season trying to convince him to stay.
