We’re living in wild times right now. The Covid-19 pandemic entirely changed the landscape of sports events, with most of the leagues and competitions around the world resuming play without fans in attendance.

However, some NCAA Football programs have refused to listen to experts and have allowed fans to be in some games – depending on state regulations – including the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for their much-awaited clash vs. Clemson.

That’s why a lot of people reacted and criticized Notre Dame fans and their football program after their supporters stormed the field after beating the Clemson Tigers in a double-overtime thriller.

LeBron James Reacts To Notre Dame Fans Storming The Field

Projected first overall pick of the NFL Draft Trevor Lawrencecouldn’t play due to Covid-19, paving the way for Clemson to upset the best team in the nation and making their fans go crazy, which clearly didn’t sit well for LeBron James:

“So it’s ok for fans to storm the field but not ok at the same time to have fans??? I’m confused,” James tweeted in the wake of events, just some days after asking to have a parade to celebrate the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers‘ championships.

Obviously, Notre Dame fans went viral in a matter of seconds and there were countless jokes, memes, reactions, and critics for their behavior, as all they did was jeopardize the NCAAF season even more after multiple coronavirus outbreaks, suspensions, postponed games, and constant rescheduling.

The pandemic is far from over and it’s not going to go away unless we all do our part like responsible adults. Beating the best team in the nation is a huge reason to celebrate but not to jeopardize everybody’s health. We should know better than that and it shouldn’t even be a topic anymore.
