Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakerswill steal all the headlines tonight when they meet for the NBA’s play-in tournament to determine who’ll get the seventh seed and who’ll have to fight for his life again.

It doesn’t get better than that, as we’re going to witness two of the greatest players of all time – who also happen to be lifelong rivals – going toe-to-toe to lead their franchise to the postseason against all odds.

And even though the Lakers are favored tonight, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith believes that they should be cautious, as Stephen Curry is way more dangerous than LeBron James and already knows how to beat him.

Stephen A. Smith Believes Stephen Curry Is Way More Dangerous Than LeBron James

“Steph Curry and LeBron James went against each other in the Finals, how many, 4 times? How many championships did Steph Curry win? 3. (…) Steph beat LeBron. That’s the bottom line. (…)” Smith said on First Take.

That head-to-head record in the NBA Finals is only going to make tonight’s game way more interesting. There’s no way that James will want to lose to Steph again, and Curry will love to continue his dominance over The King.

At the end of the day, both the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers should be favored to make the playoffs regardless of who loses tonight, and some argue that their matchups vs. the Utah Jazz or Phoenix Suns are favorable.

But there’s just too much at stake tonight. It goes beyond winning one game or making the playoffs as an underdog. It’s all about pride and proving once and for all who the better player is. So yeah, this is not the kind of game you want to bet on but it promises to be the most exciting clash we’ve seen this year.
