That seems to be the case with the NBA’s newest superteam, as James Harden and Kevin Durant are meshing perfectly thus far with the Brooklyn Nets, piling up back-to-back impressive wins.

Harden looks more motivated than ever and is playing the best basketball we’ve seenin months. Clearly, he didn’t want to play with the Houston Rockets and wasn’t playing up to his MVP-caliber standards.
In fact, he’s become the first player in NBA history to put together back-to-back games of 30+ points and 10+ assists for a new team, silencing his critics and those who called him out because of his alleged overweight.
The Brooklyn Nets are the scariest team in the NBA right now and it’s not even close. Kevin Durant is playing better than he did before suffering that Achilles injury and the worst part is that Kyrie Irving hasn’t even played with them due to personal reasons.
If they find the way to coexist and share touches on the court and the Nets add a couple of wing defenders, they’re going to be one of the most overpowered teams in professional sports history. It’s still pretty early to tell but judging by what we’ve seen thus far, there’s something quite special brewing in Brooklyn.
