The Philadelphia 76ers and Ben Simmons have reached a breaking point. Everybody around the NBA knows that he wants to be traded and that they want to get rid of him, which isn’t great for his trade value.
Daryl Morey has been reluctant to take a penny on the dollar for Simmons, who’s still young and has 4 years left on his contract. But, given the way things have unfolded, he may have to cave in rather sooner than later.
But now, it seems like the Indiana Pacers could come up with a pretty fair deal for Simmons’ services, with Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert, and a first-round pick being enough to get the Sixers’ attention.
NBA Rumors: Pacers Could Make A Solid Offer For Ben Simmons

“The 76ers have been adamant and consistent about not trading Ben Simmons just to make a trade.
With Simmons on the roster, they’re a contender for the Eastern Conference title. The Sixers are only interested in a deal that would improve their chances or at least keep them there.
That’s where the Indiana Pacers come in.
A league source told The Inquirer the Pacers were among a group of teams still inquiring about Simmons’ availability. Another source confirmed the Sixers have interest in Indiana’s Caris LeVert.
The Pacers shooting guard along with point guard Malcolm Brogdon, who Indiana is open to moving, and at least one first-rounder should be enough to get a deal done. Simmons will make $33 million this season. Brogdon is set to receive $21.7M, while LeVert has $17.5M coming his way.
The Pacers can provide a better package than interested teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves and Cleveland Cavaliers.”
That way, the Sixers would get another solid point guard in Malcolm Brogdon while also adding a great scorer in Caris LeVert, while Simmons would get a fresh start on a franchise that’s on the verge of contention. All things considered, this might as well be the best offer they’ll get for him at this point.
